💔MM: MEQ Training 1

Dear Marriage Minister Students, today I want to share Lesson 1 of MEQ training.

When you are assigned as part of a 3 Cord \o/\o/\o/ to a new MEQ, you will see student guidelines first:

Please leave some encouragement for this bride who filled out an MEQ "Marriage Encouragement Questionnaire." Before commenting, please remember to:

1. Speak to your Husband, your Maker, to know what He wants to say to this broken-hearted bride.
2. Keep it SHORT.
3. Encourage sharing 1-2 Promises.
4. Bridge to the course He used to lead you along your Restoration Journey.
5. After 3 MM Comments and the comments are CLOSED for this session, please continue to encourage by confirming what the ministers are saying by replying beneath their MM Comments.

In todays lesson I want to share more about point 1: "Speak to your Husband, your Maker, to know what He wants to say to this broken-hearted bride."

While you read the MEQ, take note of the following:

• Why did she complete the MEQ? Is she looking for Marriage Restoration or just Healing for Herself?
  • If she is not here for restoration but for Healing, Seek God about encouraging her to go to Loveatlast and encourage her to start with the He Healed Me course or the Abundant Life series.
  • If she is here for her marriage, check if she read the Restore Your Marriage book. If she has, Seek God and encourage her to start with the course He led you to assign like C2 or C3.
  • If she hasn't read the RYM book, encourage her to start with C1 which is based on the RYM book. You can also share the bookstore link with her (How God Can and Will Restore Your Marriage: From Someone Who’s Been There)

• See if she has any special concerns like custody, depression or fallen into adultery, here are some examples of courses or lessons you can encourage her to read (but remember to Simply Seek God:
  • Custody: My Custody Loss
  • Depression: He Healed Me Course, Crisis Corner, Counseling & Psychology, Medicate or Heal, Thankfulness Therapy
  • Fallen into Adultery: “It Was Me “, “False Guilt and Forgiveness”,“Convicted”, “Fallacious Guilt”

• Seek God about what to share with the bride. If you had similar experiences, share with the bride what helped you to overcome and what lessons helped you the most.
• Encourage her to journal, share the "Spectator" link with her.

  • If the bride's first language is NOT English, please share lessons available in her language, please visit RMIEW.com for available languages. If the lesson is not available in her language, encourage her to use the orange TRANSLATE button at the bottom of the screen.
