RADD Course

RADD's "Radically Awesome Descriptive Designs" COURSE is designed to use your LOVE of Design and your GOD-GIVEN talent as a woman to create!

If you have any designs for our RADD team, please complete our Opportunities form and we will get in contact with you.

Designing Book Covers

Using PowerPoint and learning:

  • Why it's important to make a duplicateβ€” never start from scratch.Β
  • Why it's important to work with Before and After pictures laid out "Side by side" for your client.
  • Why it's important to keep each prior version after applying the changes required by the Client.

Some Protocols to follow when designing a logo for a new language.

  • Match one color on the flag, but see how many colors we already have and use one in the flag that is the least used for the other languages, for example Red is very often used so if there is another color in the flag, use that one rather than red.
  • Β If there are no men's resources for that language, don't design a logo.
  • If we do have men's resources, the logo color needs to match the women's logo.

Learn the difference between PNG and JPEG pictures and when to use each one. You'll also learn how to easily change one format to another so they are ready to use for any website and all apps.

**Watch CODING-LINKS-URL-JPG/PNG-TITLES first to lay a foundation.

RMI Flags Protocol

When you are designing a page and want to add the languages in which the resources are available, please follow this list:

1) Use the Encouraging Women LOGOS whenever possible. (You can find all the logos and banners available)

2) Round flags are preferred over regular flags. Examples:

3) Please use regular flags only as emojis in titles (of course not part of URL) and in Bios etc.

  1. Hello! I noticed there is a picture missing, the very first picture and thought you’d like to fix it. Normally I’d use one of our “underground” platforms: WhatsApp, telegram, or google drive alert – – but my husband, my maker reminded me about this promise he has had me read every day for months.
β€œNo one lights a lamp πŸͺ” and then hides it or puts it under a basket 🧺. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where its light can be seen by all who enter the house, those who come may see the light.” L1133
How much easier for our WEB SCOUTS to simply comment on a page to let the webmaster and ministers know about a missing picture or even to PROOFREAD if they find a typo or significant error, and OH, wow, that’s how we can find proofreaders for all our websites too!! More investment partners https://encouragingwomen.org/become-a-partner/ who will invest their time, talents and passions to Encourage and Minister to women around the world!!

  2. Hello! I just realize that the title PNG to JPG Taught by Anastasia Johnson was linked 🫣 so I got the opportunity to watch how you did an entire group Ana. Fascinating. I absolutely will do it this way the next time I have a group to change.
What I’d like to request is a video explaining what the difference is between a PNG and JPEG – – when to use which one. I recorded several explaining it that because it was underground and I requested someone/anyone could follow the RMIOU instructions and record their own for their YouTube channel and then post it as a praise so it could get on this page – – it’s not available 😒
Poppy, as the current dean and Director of RMIOU could you help us all out?

  3. I just came in here to share the RADD link with Hope-Darling, I did ITVs for creating 3D books and packets, I think it is still in the Monday ITV board.
