My Personal Journey and BIO

What brought you to RMI and how did your Restoration Journey begin?

I wanted restoration in my marriage. Five years ago, we immigrated to the UK from South Africa. I fell into adultery, me and my spouse tried to work things out together. Three years ago my spouse told me he met someone else. The other woman fell pregnant in January the next year. My spouse told me two weeks after the baby was born. I was a broken woman when my journey first started. I can feel myself moving closer to my Beloved Lord every day, He has revealed so many of my past sins to me that I needed to repent of.

What has RMI and/or Encouraging Woman done to help you, and what has it meant to you? How have you, and how has your life changed, since learning of the promises and applying the principles from RMI?

Going through each course has helped me to get a better understanding of what God wants from me, I've never been this close to Him as I am now. I'm trying to be better every day. The most important lesson I've learned is that you need to repent, you need to forgive, and you need to keep on loving that person, no matter how much it hurts. I believe that God gave us emotions as humans, and at the end of the day, the biggest gift of them is to love. We are made to love and to be loved. His love is the greatest blessing of them all.

Why are you interested in becoming a Minister?

I want to help other woman out there, who feels like they are unwanted, unlovable, unworthy. I want to encourage them that none of these unwants are true.

They have One who wants all of them, who loves them, who thinks they are worthy of so much more than this life can offer. I want to bring the divorce rate down to the ground. I want to help women, especially in the UK to know the One who died for them.

Who is FIRST in your life? How did this come about?

My beloved Lord!

I was wrong for so many years because my spouse was my first in everything. But, I have realised these last 4 years that the Lord needs that spot, then your spouse, then kids, then the rest.

When I was a young girl, we were taught in church: I am 3rd. Meaning, the Lord is first, your loved ones second, and you are third.

That came back to me after so many years, and I feel so sorry that I abandoned that.

Are you currently "seeking" restoration for your own marriage? WHY or why not?

Yes, I am. But, I have given it all to Him. With God anything is possible.

I believe in one marriage, I believe that God chose your spouse long before you were born. God does not make mistakes.

What would you like to say to a woman who is reading your BIO? How would you begin ministering to her?

Everyone's on a journey, not one is the same, but we all have one goal- to have an intimate relationship with our Beloved.
Repent of all sins.
Forgive daily.
Love deeply.
