A Wise Woman

Learning to trust Him and put Him first in everything, has brought me to a new place, a place where I am more free than I ever have been in my entire life. I am so glad I learned about writing down verses He gave me, and meditate on them, fasting from TV and social media, and my old friends and diving into His Word and chasing after Him in a way I had never done before. Of course the Book How God Can and Will Restore Your Marriage was very convicting and so encouraging. But Facing Divorce was a resource I believe every single woman in a crisis should read. It's radical laying down your life approach is what the Kingdom is all about.

But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise, and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; (1 cor 1:27)

Applying the spiritual and biblical principles taught in these two books, transported my heart to a whole new level with My HH. Not to mention, they work, His Laws apply to every single person. Like gravity 😉

The Abundant Life books, radically changed my life. I had gotten to a place in my walk with God, that I believed He no longer spoke, was no longer actively engaged in my situation. I didn't believe He would provide for me, my children and I didn't know Him as my First Love or even as a friend anymore. After all the years of crisis' I had allowed the enemy and my logic to steal my hope. Those books gave me a newfound hope.

But the coolest thing was as I read them, one chapter a day, The Lord showed me the principles I learned in that chapter in my life and heart. Like He taught me as I went through the book, confirming what I was learning! It was the most amazing experience. It was also like a rapid accelerated school because my circumstances changed almost daily as I read through the books!

The books of Testimonies were amazing as well as the Question and Answer book. Very helpful to read! I had to stop reading the testimony book to allow my heart to become firmly attached to my Love and become detached from my EH and He led me to do so and I am glad I did. I was thinking about restoration way too much and not enough of Him!

Also, not praying for my EH like I once did. I once only prayed for him, until I realized it was coming from a self centered place not from a place of love, so simply trusting my HH enough to simply pray His Will Be Done! Letting go of my church was not hard, my flesh walked for a moment, but the time I spent with the Lord quickly took me to new heights and a newfound Love for Him and I am glad that I was able to let go!

I recommend the books to everyone, resources to everyone, even the recommended reading, Prison to Praise God me so excited to praise Him for everything! Hinds Feet in High Places is the most beautiful story of our walk with Him, highly recommend.
