For a Reason and For a Season
"For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place and you and your father’s house will perish. And who knows whether you have not attained royalty for such a time as this” "to save many people alive."
The truth is almost all of our Ministry Pastors, Ministry Team Members, and our volunteers will come through RMI for a reason and also for a season! The only exception besides Erin is Lota who has been here since 2002 and of course, Tara, Erin's daughter, who was basically born into the ministry 😉
In the past, we never fully understood God's reason for us having and training our MTMs "Ministry Team Members" and how each was simply passing through—for the purpose of training them to have their own ministries! So just as wives we needed to learn to LET GO, so we too needed to learn the blessings of letting go of our MTMs when it clearly time for them to venture out on their own and spread their wings.
Once we begin to witness a MTM who is having difficulty staying within the boundaries of RMI and the Ministry Team, we believe it's important to afford that MTM enough time off to reflect on where He's brought her from and so she knows where He's leading her to. WE believe He could very well be asking her to branch out on her own focusing on her own ministry. Whether He is leading the MTM to return refreshed and reestablished their place on the Ministry Team—knowing for certain that RMI is where she is to remain for another season OR if He is actually calling her to work entirely on and developing and/ expanding her own ministry—we want to encourage and support you.
“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Galatians 6:9 KJV
"Complete your work outside, and get your fields ready for next season; after that’s done, build your house." Proverbs 24:27 VOICE
“But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night. And he will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither; and in whatever he does, he prospers.” Psalm. 1:2
Whether you were called as one of our amazing Translators, Proofreaders, and /orNarrators, or one of our Ministers, each of us has been called to RMI as part of His plan, during a special season of our lives, in order to be prepared for "for such a time as this" to "save many people alive" ministering to the hurts and yearnings of women who we can relate to and identify with and who can relate to and identify with us!
A Sabbatical affords you the opportunity to first reflect on where you are now in your journey with Him and then where your focus is as His minister.
Each of us has an entirely unique testimony and passion for a particular group of women He wants us to fish for and minister to:
- A woman married for many years or just married or somewhere in between.
- A woman who is separated, divorced, never legally married, remarried or is still married living in a home with her husband who is living as a single man.
- A woman who has a house full of young children, teen children, no children or grown children.
- A woman who lives surrounded by family and friends who give unwanted advice or a woman who is living away from family and friends feeling displaced in another country.
Your testimony, where He's taken you and how far you've come can and will encourage many women or just one woman in a unique way that can change their lives or life.
"No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your Heavenly Father."
